The Model
This, like all K&W models, is a very scale reproduction of the full-size aeroplane. All controls are as on the original, including the wing warping. The undercarriage and the wheels makes it quite a sight to behold when it's airborne. Handling is quite forgiving, but flying should be done under low or no wind conditions till the pilot is familiar with its characteristics as the model has to be flown much like the full-size, - gently and with measured movements.
The wing warping gives positive control. but the responses are not instant, so flying it takes a little to get used to. But what it lacks in aerobatic prowess it most certainly makes up for in grace and realism.

R.A.F. Be2a
was a 1913 British reconnaissance aircraft. The Royal Aircraft Factory at Farmborough, England, had hired Geoffrey de Havilland and F.M. Green to "repair" damaged aircraft. One such "repair" project, a Voisin biplane, emerged as a completely new design, developed by de Havilland. It was to become a significant step forward in construction of a very stable observation platform. This early design had lateral control by wing warping.
The engine was a 60 hp Renault V-8 air cooled, driving a four-bladed propeller.
